TOXAEMIA (Swe) Discography 2LP coming in 2010 from THE CRYPT
Classic, cult old School Swedish Death Metal at its finest! Forged in 1989, TOXAEMIA managed stay largely under the radar during their short 3 year career, during which time they released 2 cult demos and a 7" EP of uncompromising, brutal Swedish death metal. The band had the honor of playing shows with the likes of Entombed, Merciless, Therion and Cadaver back in the day. Citing influences ranging from Morbid Angel, Possessed, Death, Entombed, Bolt Thrower and Cannibal Corpse, TOXAEMIA offers a varied range in their toxic Death Metal formula. Unfortunately they disbanded before they even had a chance to reach their full potential.Now, the CRYPT is proud to present this cult act's complete discography plus unreleased tracks on 12" vinyl, complete with original artwork, lyrics, unpublished band photos and liner notes. As we always pride ourselves in using the original cover art for our releases, in this case we may have outdone ourselves. Rather than scan from an art book, we took the initiative to track down a private collector who owns an original 1845 Hiroshige Ukiyo-e print of the artwork, and were able to obtain amazing first generation, museum quality scans of this masterpiece.
To retain the classic feel of the original 1995 release, this gatefold is designed in the spirit of the original digipack with attention to detail, even down to the typeface, as well as well as exclusive band photos and exclusive liner notes by Mirai Kawashima. This LP set features not only the original album mix, but an unreleased mix by the the band as well as the unreleased EP title track "Shadowking" as a bonus.
Included in all 500 copies is a huge, luxurious 24" x 36" (60.96 cm x 91.44 cm) poster of the Hiroshige artwork.
For the amazing cover art, we took the initiative to track down a museum in British Columbia that owns an original Kuniyoshi Ukiyo-e print from 1855, and were able to obtain a first generation, museum quality slide scan of this masterpiece.
To retain the classic, "Old School" feel of the original 1997 release this LP is designed after the original CD with attention to detail even down to the typeface, as well as exclusive band photos and exclusive 2009 liner notes by Mirai Kawashima.
Included in all 500 copies is a huge, luxurious 24" x 36" (60.96 cm x 91.44 cm) poster of the Kuniyoshi artwork.

For the first time on vinyl "Infidel Art", the sophomore masterpiece, from Japan's leading extreme metal export: SIGH! Over two hours of cult, epic Far East black metal on three 180 gram heavy vinyl LPs, strictly limited to a one time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies - 200 of which will be black vinyl and 300 of which will be light emerald green vinyl. These killer slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram, reverse board printed, triple-gatefold jacket featuring the entire, un-edited Ukiyo-e triptych illustration from Ichiryusai Hiroshige across the 3 outer panels. For the first time on vinyl, "Ghastly Funeral Theatre" coupled with the classic "Tragedies" demo from Japan's leading extreme metal export SIGH. Cult, epic Far East black metal on 180 gram heavy vinyl LP, strictly limited to a one-time only pressing of 500 hand-numbered copies - 200 of which will be black vinyl and 300 will be on transparent jade green vinyl. These killer slabs of wax come housed in a 350 gram, reverse board printed jacket featuring the entire un-edited Ukiyo-e illustration from Utagawa Kuniyoshi. FURBOWL was formed in 1991 when Johan Liiva left Carnage and hooked up with his old friend Max Thornell on drums (both would form HEARSE in the 90's). After a few demos, FURBOWL recorded their debut album "Those Shredded Dreams" in 1991. The album was produced by Carnage / Carcass guitar player (and long time friend of the band) Michael Amott (ARCH ENEMY) who also played some leads on the album. Not surprisingly Michael asked Johan to join Arch Enemy some years later.
This LP contains the debut "Those Shredded Dreams", plus 18 bonus tracks the band recorded between 1991 and 1993.

Undoubtedly, a true monument of the most underrated Swedish death metal band from the early 90's!
Strictly limited to a one time pressing of 500 copies on 180 gram vinyl (200 copies on black and 300 copies on colored). To retain the classic, "Old School" feel of the original 1992 release, this 3 LP gatefold jacket is designed after the original CD with attention to detail, even down to the typeface, including exclusive band photos and extensive liner notes from Johan, Max and Michael!
Although we plan on using the original cover art for the LP jacket which we feel is appropriate, we felt that the poster artwork should be more striking, as the original cover layout is not entirely conducive to poster size. We were lucky enough to find an amazing artist Zbigniew Bielak, who will provide new illustrations for the poster and T shirts.

1. We as well as Dan feel that ..Dawn and Dream II are clearly the best material.
2. Osmose holds the rights to the debut and second LP (both of which can still easily be found on ebay for a reasonable price). Relapse still holds the rights for the 3rd album. We felt it would be far too difficult to try and coordinate with Dan and the 2 labels, and then have to pay royalties to 3 separate parties.
3. We prefer to work directly with the artist in all situations as it is their music are we feel they should be involved and have creative input.
To be released in early 2010.
